I was wrong. I wrote an earlier review saying I was disappointed with the read and write speeds of this cable and was only getting 75 MB/s read and write speeds. But in other applications/situations I have been getting 125 MB/s which was as good as the peripheral could manage. So, I think it was probably a power delivery/management issue b/w the Mac and the peripheral and port used. So, I was wrong/mistaken. This product is definitely a help and matches, if not exceeds the speeds I would get using an adapter with a USB A cable.

Equipé du Mac Studio, j'avais besoin pour mon disque externe Lacie Porsche Design d'un câble remplaçant le câble USB3 d'origine et le cable câble Thunderbolt 3 (devenu incompatible avec l'UBC / Thunderbolt 4).
Ca fonctionne très bien et je bénéficie d'un liaison ultra rapide.

Die Kabel sind echt gut. Mit dem USB A hat der Mac Ungefähr 5 Tage gebraucht mit dem neuen UCB C braucht der nur 2 Stunden. Also hat sich auf jeden fall gelont.

Bought this to connect a WD hard drive to a new Mac via the Thunderbolt connector, direct rather than using an adaptor on the cable supplied with the drive. Good quality feel to the product and all good so far.
