My iPad Pro would not pair with an older pair of Bluetooth headphones. Apple switched the lightning charger on the iPad with a mini USB so iPhone earphones wouldn’t work either. This adapter with a mini USB plug and a lightening port was a cheap fix. Adapter stays securely attached while using it. Until I figure out how to pair the headphones this is a cheap fix. My best Prime Day purchase.

This is my second purchase of this product. I misplaced the other one. I use it to transfer movies from my computer to my iPad so when I go to the car or motorcycle dealer to have a service, which always seem to take forever, I can watch a movie or two while waiting. It is a must have if your electronics aren't compatible with each other for data transfers or audio. I highly recommend it.

When using the adapter with my iPad Pro 12.9 5th generation, I have to close down the iPad and restart often. If the screen times out due to inactivity, I have to close everything down and start over. It works but is a pain to restart. The adapter is very sturdy, fits well otherwise. This adapter is only for headphones, so I can’t use it to charge my iPad. Will be returning.

This works perfectly with my iPad Air 4 (2020) and lightning headphones. The sound quality is excellent! Shame you can’t use it for charging (or attaching other lightning adapters) but this was made clear in the listing so it won’t affect my rating. It fits ever so slightly wobbly in the port of my iPad but perfect otherwise!

The adapter did its job correctly and transparently, allowing me to use again a pair of Philips M2L but the device seems to be affected by some build/reliability/durability issue.
After roughly 3 weeks with no hiccups (with the utmost care... no bending or pulling by the cable or any kind of mechanical abuse), it started showing intermittent connection issues for a couple of days and it completely stopped being functional after that.

Da ich selbst lange gesucht habe: JA, damit schließt man sein Apple Lightning Headset (Audio/Mic) an einen USB-C Port. Der Adapter installiert sich plug`n'play von selbst und es funktioniert! Nach 1 Jahr Homeoffice habe ich die schweren Office-Headsets, die unsere Firma an uns verteilt hat, satt. Da wir Windows-Laptops haben und meine Apple Airpods nicht mit der Bluetooth Schnittstelle des Thinkpads zurecht kamen, musste eine Lösung her. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen, deutlich günstigeren Adaptern, kann dieser Adapter eben auch Audio. Alle anderen können nur laden!

I have a Macbook air with M1 chip and I couldn't use my apple headphones because of the usb-c but I bought this adapter to use and it works great! At first, my music wasn't playing through my headphones but you HAVE to change the OUTPUT on your device. Go to settings, then sound and go to "Output". You should have your devices speakers selected already, so you have to change it to the USB output. The price however is ridiculous lol should be less than $20. So far, it has been working perfectly.

Firstly, you may listen to music through MacBook's proper speakers. However, you would need to change a bit default settings at settings>sound>input or output and select 'IOUSBHostInterface'. Then, they work perfectly.
