Just got this after my last one (Different make) seemed to stop working was not sure at first if it wa down to my internet having issues but bit the bullet and bought this one it was not the internet it was my old adapter never had issues with this in the past and only use it now and again if the WIFI slows down tried the old one yesterday and I was down to around 120mbs yet wifi was giving me around 400 mbs Just tried the new Ugreen adaptor and its now running back to full speed giving me just under the 1 Gig Simple plug and play on a mac just asked if I wanted to accept new hardware and that was it good to go So its a 5 stars from me at the moment

Ich nutze den Netzwerk-Adapter, wenn ich größere Datenmengen auf meine Synology zu schaufeln! Der Datendurchsatz ist absolut in der Norm! Da ich einen Mac Book Pro M1 habe, musste ich mir einen solchen Adapter zulegen. Plug n Play ist er allerdings nicht! Vorher muss der Treiber auf der Herstellerseite herunterladen und installiert werden! Wenn dies geschehen ist, läuft es super!

Es ist schon erstaunlich auf was Laptophersteller neuerdings alles "verzichten" (DVD-Laufwerk, LAN-Anschluss). Ich nutze aus Sicherheitsgründen und der höheren Datenübertragungsrate bevorzugt LAN-Anschlüsse statt WLAN. Wenn der Laptop keinen LAN-Anschluss aber einen USB-C-Anschluss hat, dann ist dieser Adapter die Lösung. Leider wird der Adapter erst nach mehreren Versuchen (Ein- und Ausstecken) vom Laptop erkannt (Bewertungsabzug).

I got the Adapter end of April. It started not being recognized by multiple PCs and Notebooks around July. But seems it only does it from time to time. When I plug it in, all lights flicker for a second, then nothing. It looks and feels nice and the build quality looks good but it might not be very durable. I will further observe it.
